Ayo Disu is an ex-Oracle engineer with 20 years of experience working in the UK tech space. Being an immigrant himself, he is painfully aware of how difficult, frustrating, and emotionally draining it can be to apply for jobs that require sponsorship.
He has been through the uncertainty, the waiting, and the awkward conversations that come with sponsorship first-hand. In the past, even after being successfully offered roles, he still had to wait for the now-defunct Resident Labour Market Test to be completed before things could move forward.
